As you listen to these words, you will find yourself relaxing more and more deeply. You will feel yourself drifting into a comfortable state of calmness and relaxation. What we're going to do is take a few minutes to relax and focus on the colour white. You might feel a little bit silly or awkward at first, but don't worry about that! The only thing I want you to think about is the colour white.
White is a very peaceful colour. It reminds me of snow, which is also very peaceful. I grew up in Canada and loved playing outside in the snow when I was a kid. It helped me feel calm and relaxed, like nothing else could bother me when I was bundled up in my warm winter clothes and boots.
So let's imagine that feeling now—that sense of peace and relaxation—while thinking about white. If you've got any favourite memories of playing outside in winter (or even just walking through a snowfall), let them come into your mind now as well.

I’m going to take you back to the beginning, when you were first born. We are going to go back through all of your experiences with white… starting with your first trip to the dentist.
When you first started going to visit the dentist as a child, they probably had all of their equipment in bright white cabinets—and it may have scared you. But now that you are older and more confident in yourself, you look back on those days and laugh at how silly that was. You know now that white is just a colour like any other colour. It doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t represent anything negative or dangerous; it just means “look out for me!” It means “be careful!” It means “please don’t hurt yourself by touching something sharp or hot or sharp or hot!” But when we look at things differently than before, then we can see them differently than before, too—and that makes all the difference in
