First, take a few deep breaths, and then imagine yourself at a beautiful beach on a sunny day. The sun is shining down on you and there are no clouds in the sky. The sand is warm under your feet and there's a gentle breeze blowing through your hair. You hear the sound of waves crashing onto shore as they wash up against the shoreline.
Now imagine that there is another person standing next to you on this beautiful beach. This person is someone who loves you very much. It could be anyone: your mom or dad, brother or sister... even one of your best friends! This person has come with you because they care about you so much and want to see you happy again after being afraid of your mother-in-law! Their love for you will help take away all of those negative emotions that have been holding onto fear inside of yourself since first meeting her!
Now imagine this
You've probably never met the mother-in-law you're about to marry.

This hypnosis meditation is designed to help you overcome your fear of your mother-in-law. It is based on the principles of hypnotherapy and NLP and uses a combination of suggestion and guided imagery to help you create a new experience for yourself. The technique is simple, but it works very well.
The first step is to relax. This meditation does not require any special preparation so you can just lie down on the couch or sit in a comfortable chair wherever you like. Lie down if you feel more comfortable that way, but sitting upright can also be fine if lying down makes you feel too sleepy or tired. Close your eyes and take a deep breath as you exhale slowly. Now just let your body relax into whichever position feels most comfortable for you right now without forcing anything at all; just let gravity do its work while focusing attention on breath control until everything else falls away from consciousness except for this one thing—the rhythm of inhalation and exhalation—which becomes more pronounced as time goes by until nothing else matters anymore but this perfect moment when everything seems perfect because it is being experienced within this perfect moment when nothing else matters except

Today we're going to talk about a very common fear that people have: the fear of their mother-in-law.
This fear is actually quite common—it's not just you! It's estimated that more than a third of people have a fear of their mother-in-law, and it can be really hard to get over it. But now you don't have to! I'm here today to help you take back control and learn how to stop being afraid of your mother-in-law.
First, let's talk about what causes this fear. Often times, it stems from childhood trauma—you might have been told that your mother-in-law was evil when you were little, or maybe she was mean to you at some point in your life. Your brain remembers those experiences and associates them with being around her again because they're so traumatic for us as humans.
The best way to deal with these kinds of situations is by confronting them head on—this is called exposure therapy. Exposure therapy is when we expose ourselves gradually over time until we no longer feel afraid anymore because we've gotten used to being around our triggers again (like having dinner with your husband's family).
So
I want you to imagine a beautiful, peaceful place. It could be anywhere you like. Maybe it's your favorite beach, or a mountain retreat, or even somewhere in your own house. Whatever it is, it's a place where you feel safe and comfortable—a place where you can relax and let go of all the stress in your life.
Now take another deep breath and allow yourself to sink deeper into that place as you exhale…
