It's a common fear that many people have and it can be difficult to overcome. When you think about it, the ocean is pretty big and scary! If you're afraid of water, then this meditation is for you. This is going to help you understand why you are fearful of water, so that you can work through it.
If you're ready to get started, just close your eyes and take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Relax your muscles as much as possible and focus on breathing deeply until you feel calm and relaxed.

Fear of the sea, or hydrophobia, is a fear of drowning. It is a phobia, or an intense and irrational fear of something that does not necessarily pose any actual danger. The fear can be so severe that it interferes with daily life. Fear of the sea can be traced back to the time when humans first started to live on land and depended on water for their survival. This fear stems from ancient times because when humans lived in caves, they would hear water dripping from cave ceilings and walls. This sound would remind them of rain falling outside their homes and made them feel uneasy about being in enclosed spaces where there were no windows or doors to let in fresh air if they needed it. They associated this sound with danger and decided that caves were dangerous places to live because water could come pouring in at any moment through cracks or holes in the ceiling or walls due to heavy rainfall outside or simply because it was raining heavily inside as well!
In today's world where most people live above ground rather than below ground like our ancestors did long ago, it's hard to understand why anyone would still have this kind of fear when there are no real dangers involved anymore! However

You need to be in a comfortable position with your eyes closed, and make sure you're not disturbed while listening.
One: Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for three seconds, then release slowly through your mouth. Repeat this three times.

This meditation is all about that fear of the sea. You're going to imagine yourself out at sea, in your own personal version of a shipwreck. You're going to imagine that the ship has sprung a leak, so every time you go down into the water, it's like traveling through a cave filled with kraken-type monsters who want to eat you alive.
You'll be scared out of your mind! You'll want to run away! And then… when you're done imagining this scene, if you really really really want to do it… you can try letting yourself sink into the water. Just let yourself sink! The krakens will come after you! But then maybe they won't be able to catch up with their prey because they're so fast, and maybe they will get stuck in their own cave—and then maybe they'll have to turn around and go find another way out!
I have been practicing the Fear of the Sea Hypnosis Meditation for a few weeks now, and I can tell you that it's one of the most powerful meditation techniques I've ever come across.

Now that you're relaxed, imagine that you are sitting on a beautiful beach. It's a sunny day and the waves are gently rolling up onto the shore. In front of you is a small fire burning in an old metal bucket. The smoke is rising up into the air and filling your senses with its sweet smell. It makes you feel calm and peaceful inside.
Take in this moment for as long as it feels right for you now…
