Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a second, then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Do that again. Inhale through your nose, hold it for a second, then slowly exhale through your mouth.
And one more time—inhale through your nose, hold it for a second, then slowly exhale through your mouth.
Now close your eyes and breathe normally while I guide you into a deep state of relaxation.

You are about to embark on a journey that will help you overcome your fear of the sun. This is a safe environment, and all you have to do is follow along with the words I say and relax.
The first thing we'll do is take a deep breath in, and then let it out slowly. Now take another deep breath in, and let it out slowly again. Now another deep breath in and let it out slowly again. And one more time… breathe in… and out… let the air fill your lungs completely, then gently release it as you exhale…
Now close your eyes and imagine yourself standing under an open sky full of bright blue skies and fluffy white clouds. You can feel the warmth of the sun on your face as it shines down upon you. The light feels so good on your skin that you begin to turn towards it as if being called by something inside yourself who wants nothing more than for this moment to last forever…
